UHE Education Day on October 3rd Focuses on Population Health

Dr. Jonathan H. Burroughs will be the featured presenter at this year’s UHE Education Day program, taking place Wednesday, October 3rd at Zermatt Resort and Spa in Midway. Dr. Burrough’s presentation is entitled “Leading in a Changing Environment: Focus on Population Health” and will offer attendees the chance to learn and share winning strategies to improve the health of the communities we serve.

Dr. Burroughs is President and CEO of The Burroughs Healthcare Consulting Network, Inc. and works with some of the nation’s top healthcare consulting organizations to provide ‘best practice’ solutions and training to healthcare organizations throughout the country in the areas of governance, physician–hospital alignment strategies, credentialing, privileging, peer review and performance improvement/patient safety, medical staff development planning, strategic planning, and physician performance and behavior management. Dr. Burroughs received his bachelor’s degree at Johns Hopkins University, his MD from Case Western Reserve University, and a healthcare MBA with honors at the Isenberg School of Management. He is a certified healthcare and physician executive and a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the American College of Physician Executives.

UHE Education Day is taking place in conjunction with the Utah Hospital Association’s Fall Leadership Conference. Lodging for UHE attendees is available through the Association’s room block. The room block will be released on Monday, September 10.
